Sawandi was a brother, uncle, son and friend to many. He was also seen smiling and saw the good in everyone and everything. He loved his nieces and he loved his sisters. He lived with his big sister in California for some time to help her with his nieces as she went through a toxic marriage and divorce. Although he eventually moved out on his own, he kept in touch with both of his sisters as he went to school and worked full time. He was murdered on October 12, 2019 by law enforcement while waiting at the bus stop after one of his co-workers dropped him off....Just a month and 2 days after his 21st birthday and 2 months before he made arrangements to go back to Florida. We thank everyone who has helped to honor his name and spread awareness when purchasing an item with his name on it.
